Learn to play classical guitar either in a class or individual lessons
In addition to his present teaching schedule, Roger runs a class on Wednesday mornings 9.30-11.30 for complete beginners to learn classical guitar. The class is at Keene Hall, Galleywood, Chelmsford, CM2 8PT. Lessons are weekly and the cost is £10 per lesson.
Absolutely essential for learning any musical instrument is the need to practise in between lessons; 20 to 30 minutes a day will produce good results (with two short daily sessions better than one longer one). The lesson is like a tip of an iceberg, you will learn what to do and how to do it but then those moves must be repeated many times to establish them both physically and mentally.
