A Classical Guitarist or duo can add a touch of class to a wedding ceremony, the reception or the wedding breakfast.

Roger has played at many weddings, at the ceremonies, the receptions and the wedding breakfasts. It can be an interesting alternative or contrast to the church organ and can can provide an unobtrusive background to the reception and/or dinner adding to the ambience of the occasion. The Flute and Guitar Duo with his daughter provides a further range of possibilities.

It is particularly useful to have a guitarist play at civil weddings where there is often no piano or organ available in the room and live music is far more impressive than recorded. All styles of music can be played on the guitar including classical, traditional wedding music and popular styles. Roger's rates are affordable so please don't hesitate to contact him.

See below for testimonial letters from events where he has played.

"It all went very well and Roger was fabulous! Everybody commented on how lovely his guitar playing was".

"I wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding. It really set a nice mood during dinner and everyone enjoyed listening to you."

"Firstly, many many thanks for playing at our wedding on Saturday. Weddings are usually all the same and it's the small things that make the difference. We only spent 6 weeks organising our big day as we took a cancellation but your efforts were one of the things that we could do to make a difference, and you certainly did that. Your choice of music, classical and well known was perfect, played at a volume that was noticeable without being obtrusive. It created a great atmosphere that we were worried might be absent at such a small event.
We had so many positive comments from guests regarding your playing we know we made a good choice in hiring you."

"Thanks for playing a great part in our wedding day, you made it truly magical, thank you once again."
"We had an amazing day on Saturday and that was in part due to the superb guitar music played by Roger ...We felt very lucky to have someone of Roger's calibre play a part in our day".

"We just wanted to say a huge 'thank you' for performing at our wedding...You played so beautifully and we had lots of positive comments from from our guests..." (May 2012)

"Dear Roger,
We have received so many very positive comments about your performance at the wedding from our family and friends. Your excellent playing, along with the sunshine certainly had a very big part to play in creating that relaxed atmosphere whilst our guests socialised and enjoyed Pimms on the lawn.
We would have no hesitation in recommending you if the opportunity arises and rest assured that if ever we hold an occasion in the future that would benefit from your talent, we will be sure to be back in touch.
Many thanks again Roger." (June 2012)
